Release strategy
Neptune releases one Neptune DXP - Open Edition LTS version (long-term support) each year. In between, Neptune releases an innovation release, which includes new functionalities.

Recommended version
In general, you should always run an LTS version in production.
However, we recommend that you start a project with an innovation version if the go-live date is well beyond the release date of the next LTS version. Then you can develop on the new version and be sure you have a stable LTS release the day you go live.
