Configure the layout of your tile group
In this topic, you learn how to configure the layout of your tile group.
Prerequisites
-
You have configured the general settings of your tile in Configure general information about your tile.
Procedure
-
Go to the Tile Group Layout tab.
-
In the Tile Group Layout Settings section, you can select to Hide Tile Group Header or Hide from All Menus. In the StyleClass field, you add a custom style class.
-
In the Tile Group Layout section, you can select a tile group layout from the Tile Group Layout dialog for both light appearance and dark appearance to define the general layout of your tile group and how it is displayed on the launchpad.
-
Select or deselect Force tile group layout attributes! depending on your use case.
Tile groups inherit tile group layout settings configured in launchpad layouts. Deselect the Force Tile Group Attributes settings if the tile group layout settings defined in this tile group should always be used. Tile group layouts added in launchpad layouts will not have any effect on the tile group and any sub-tile groups. -
In the Tile Group Header Settings section, you can customize your tile group’s header, including title alignment of a header and title font size. From the Tile Group Layout dialog, select a tile group layout in a light appearance or a dark appearance.
-
In the sections Desktop, Tablet, and Mobile, you can specify the layout of the tile group depending on the output medium. In Header Height, enter a header height in pixels.
-
For each output type, in Header Image, when you select a header image from the Media Library, further fields appear to enable selection of a header in a light and dark appearance, in Light Appearance Header Image and Dark Appearance Header Image.
