Add a user role to a development package

In this topic, you learn how to add a user role to a development package.

Prerequisites

  • You are a Global Admin user or your user has been assigned to a user role in the Role tool with the Edit permission for the Development Package tool.

Procedure

  1. On the Cockpit, go to Development and select Development Package.

  2. Select a development package from the displayed list of development packages.

    Result: The selected development package opens in the General tab.

  3. Go to the Role tab and select Edit.

  4. To add a user role, select Add.

    Result: The User Roles dialog opens.

  5. Select one or more user roles and select Select.

    Result: One or more user roles are added to the development package.

  6. In the Action column, select Read to enable read permissions for the user role, or Edit to enable edit permissions for the user role.

  7. Select Save.

Results

  • You have added a user role to a development package with relevant permissions for the corresponding use case.
