Add a translation for your tile group
In this topic, you learn how to provide a manual or automated translation for the title, subtitle, and menu text of your tile group in a chosen language. This translation is only displayed when the user selects this language on the launchpad.
You can translate visual text for a tile group via machine translation and AI with the following functions:
- Google Translate

Use the Google API to machine-translate visual text on your tile group.
- Naia Translate

Enable Naia to create AI-based translations for visual text on your tile group.
Prerequisites

You have configured the general settings of your tile in Configure general information about your tile.

For Google Translate, you have entered a valid Google API key in the Custom Settings tool.

For Naia Translate, you have turned on the switch for Naia in the Integrations tab of the System Settings tool.
Procedure

If you want to display a translated title, subtitle, or menu text for your tile group on runtime, in Tile Group, in the Information section of the General tab, optionally enter text in the fields Title, Sub Title, and Menu Text, as required.

Select Save.

Go to the Translation tab.
Result: Entered text of the title, subtitle, and menu text for your tile group is displayed as an overview in the language of entry. .Select Add.
Result: The Language Selector dialog opens.

Choose a language or multiple languages and select Use Selected Languages.
Result: A row for the selected language is added to the field for population.

Choose the following:

Manually enter your translation in each field of the row.

To use Google Translate machine translation, select Google Translate Selected.

To use Naia Translate AI translation, select Translate.
