Activate Firebase and push notifications
In this topic, you learn how to activate Firebase in your Neptune DXP - Open Edition and how to enable push notifications.
Procedure

In the Cockpit, go to Settings and select System Settings.

In the General tab, go to the Firebase - Push Notification section.

Enter the values for Private API key, Public API key, an Message Sender ID you received from Firebase.

Select Restart to apply the changes to your Neptune DXP - Open Edition.

In the Cockpit, go to Administration and select Launchpad.

From the table, select the launchpad you want to enable push notifications for.

In the General tab, go to the Settings section and select Enable Push Notifications.

Select Save.
Result: Your device is on the list of subscribers in the launchpad if you run it.
