Add an enhancement

In this topic, you learn how to add and configure an enhancement to use in Launchpads or mobile clients.

Prerequisites

  • There are no prerequisites.

Procedure

  1. In the Cockpit, go to Administration and click Enhancement.

    Result: The table of existing enhancements opens.

  2. Click Add.

    Result: The Create Enhancement dialog opens.

  3. Enter an ID for your enhancement. It refers to the name the enhancement artifact has in the system.

  4. Enter a Description for your enhancement.

  5. Click Create Enhancement.

    Result: The settings of the enhancement open in the Enhancement tab.

  6. In the Enhancement tab, you can change the description of your enhancement.

  7. In the Spots tab, you can configure one or more enhancement spots for your enhancement. You can add custom JavaScript code or use a function module.

  8. In the Where-used tab, you can monitor in which Launchpads and mobile clients your enhancement is used.

  9. Click Save.

Results

  • You have added and configured an enhancement.
