Captions

  • Do not insert captions in screenshots of the graphical user interface (GUI).

  • Insert captions for pictures that are not screenshots of the GUI.

  • If you insert a caption for a picture, do not number it. Disable caption numbering by inserting ":!figure-caption:" below the title.

  • Begin the first word of the caption with a capital letter.

  • Do not insert a full stop after a caption unless the caption consists of more than two sentences.
