Capitalization

Capitalize the following words:

  • First word of a sentence

  • First word of a heading

  • First word of a list

  • First word of a picture caption

  • First word in a table header and table column

  • Proper nouns where required: persons, products, brands, etc.

  • National/regional adjectives

  • Days, months

Do not capitalize the following words:

  • Phrases that are not products, brands, etc. even if they appear to be so. Examples:

    • Wrong: Application Building Block Correct: application building block
