Neptune DXP comprehensively addresses the security requirements that emerge when deployed in a variety of enterprise settings. Whilst each setting creates its own unique mix of security requirements Neptune DXP supports a defence-in-depth approach, by applying appropriate controls at all the concerns of an enterprise architecture where it is involved:

  • Runtime Security authenticating and authorising end users wishing to use Neptune DXP Apps.

  • Platform Security authenticating and authorising DevOps engineers to build Neptune DXP Apps and Microservices.

  • API Security authenticating and authorising access to endpoint resources defined in Neptune DXP Microservices as well as SAP resources via the Neptune DXP SAP connector.

  • Secure Service Discovery between Neptune DXP Microservices enabling secure service orchestrations.

  • Secure Deployments of packaged artefacts between Neptune DXP instances dedicated to development, testing, staging and production.
